Arts on the Millrace was an amazing day! Huge thanks to everyone who swung by my table and picked up a piece and/or stopped by to say hi. I am immensely grateful for all the the support, and it was really beautiful to hear people’s stories of connection to the places I’ve painted. It was also a blast to watch people get a kick out of the vending machine (one person told me it gave 90s Pizza Hut vibes—thinking about rebranding my whole aesthetic around that). And of course, a massive, earth-shaking shout-out to my dear sister @bravo_joy for so much help as the Super Sibling Booth Assistant! Late post! It was great to get out to Elkhart ArtWalk last week, and I want to say many thanks to everyone who stopped by my table. I’m grateful to those who picked up a print/original/free sticker, and to @interiormotives321 for hosting me! This is a piece that I painted during the quiet moments at the table. Had an amazing time at First Fridays this weekend! I was so happy to see the event kept rolling in spite of some unpredictable downpours. Thanks so much to all who stopped by my table and picked up a sticker/print/painting, and especially to my sibling-in-crime @bravo_joy for booth assisting! Working on some postage stamp stickers, which should be ready in time for Elkhart ArtWalk this Wednesday! Unfortunately my favorite part of this process is peeling off the sticker backing, which means I just want to keep slicing and sticking these things everywhere. Painted from the window of @theelectricbrew in downtown Goshen 🌥️ Mini floral prints now available on my website 🌼 The art print vending machine lives! Reintroducing it here after its debut at First Fridays. Can’t wait to keep rolling this out at upcoming shows! Folks, I have a table at Goshen’s First Fridays event this week! I’ll be rolling out all manner of originals, prints, and potentially a very cool machine … more details coming soon. If you’re cruising through the event, stop by and see me on the courthouse lawn! This is me busting out the tripod setup to knock out some more originals before the big day. See you there! 📸: @victoria_darlingg Just finished this commission of the La Porte County Public Library. Part of my assignment was to pick the library, so I had a great time googling different options all across the state/country/world. But in the end, this beautiful building was the one that felt right. I wish I could have painted on location, but instead worked from series of photos and Google Maps views. Hopefully someday I’ll make it over there to paint one from across the street.
